Five members attended the Guild Monday night meeting for August. Mike, Joy, Jim, Sonia and Wendy prepared for an evening of experimentation and wild abandon with a variety of paints and inks.
Participants arrived with a variety of equipment – watercolours, acrylic inks, alcohol inks and acrylic pouring mediums for use on watercolour paper, cartridge, Yupo, photographic paper or canvas. Brushes, pipettes, straws, palette knives, toothbrushes, sticks, etc. were used to apply or move the paint around. A good chance to experiment and step out of one’s comfort zone.
