At the Guild monthly meeting in August members gathered with the brief to create a vintage style travel or theatre poster. In fact all taking part opted for a travel poster with destinations including Cornwall, Portmeirion, the Peak District and The Alps.

Sonia chose some sketches she made of Portmeirion several years ago to inform a Rail Travel poster.

Mike found a vintage image of an attraction in the Peak District to begin his watercolour.

Joy’s poster advertised winter sports in the Alps.

Jenny’s poster portrayed the idyllic delights of Cornwall’s beaches in a bygone era.
