The suggested theme for July’s monthly meeting was Charcoal Drawing. Five members attended and produced some interesting pieces during the 2 hours of experimentation with the medium. You can see the results below:
Joy created a coastal scene and a woodland scene.


Colin did a drawing of a racoon and another of a duck.


Mike produced a rural scene, using very fine willow charcoal which helped achieve a more detailed outcome.

Sonia attempted to replicate some life drawings, previously completed in pencil.



Jim opted to try and finish the watery theme he started last month – a pastel of crashing waves.
