The Guild kicked of 2023 with their AGM on Saturday 25th February. The meeting was well attended and after the AGM business was complete members enjoyed some social time over a buffet lunch followed by a lively auction of art supplies, equipment and books.
The new committee was elected with most officers remaining in post, however we are delighted to welcome Ruth Wintle as incoming General/Membership Secretary, and also welcome the new Joint Chairs; Jim Dowton and Viv Lucas.
The Chairman’s Cup was awarded by President Joy Burden to member Jim Dowton for his much appreciated work to keep the Guild events at Broad Town and Hook on track following the return to normalcy in the wake of the CoVid pandemic, and generally for keeping us all on our toes with organisation and administration.
