About the Artist

Over the years I have enjoyed making things and have dabbled in many craft activities.

My real journey into painting started when I retired, and my daughter gave me a watercolour paint box and a brush, and said I could now paint in my spare time!

As a keen gardener I have always loved a variety of flowers and so it seemed to me to be a good place to start.

I delved into the realm of Fairyland for a present for a new arrival to the family, and so hopefully combined flowers, fauna and a sense of the magical world. This has led to other pictures with the knowledge that adults as well as children enjoy the alluring magic of all things mystical.
